Labours problem is its base is literally split 50/50 on leave or remain. They’re going to lose no matter what position they take so as laughable and self defeating as it they’ve taken an extended sit on the fence as a position. The biggest and ongoing open goal in all british political history and they’re shooting themselves in both feet and running the opposite direction away from the goal.
It’s astonishing.

Boris is also up to his neck in trouble over a woman he allegedly was having an affair with, who he brought on several trade tips and got her £100k in funding from British entrepreneur board...yet she’s Living in America and it’s an American business.

The media in the U.K. seem to finally be doing their job and not letting it drop.

Probably because it tells them how a court date over the no deal extension will go.

Would their base still be split in half if they had a more vigorous pro-Remain leader instead of Corbyn?

Could well be he’s replaced within weeks of a caretaker PM is to be installed. No one in HOC would vote for Corbyn as caretaker PM. Look to Keir Starmer id say.

Well it won’t matter in HoC it will only matter when the election happens. And their success or failure at the ballot box will depend on whatever action the Labour leader, whomever it may be, has taken.
