Having an in with Tweedy/Wilco and being like “nah, I have paddle practice tonight” (I don’t even know what that is) is baller. Haha.

it's not pickleball. it's a cross among tennis, racquetball, and ping pong played primarily in the winter in an encaged, smaller tennis court.

how many IPAs do you have after a rousing match of Wii Sports Tennis?

it looks like fun, but you won't catch me playing. i've had two back surgeries, mostly because i'm broken.

I enjoyed this exchange in the Wilco thread. Sorry about your back though, dad.

Several years ago I was lucky enough to have my request granted for a rarely played song at a wilco show. Side with the seeds.

sorry. i missed this.

it was one of the better "living room" shows i've been to. jeff was in super good spirits, and joking around all the time. both of his head sound men were there again recording the show. jeff also brings susan, his wife, who this time brought her 90 year old dad who was a major firecracker. he was hysterical, making comments from the peanut gallery like the critics in the muppets.

i ended up getting Hints, which was great.

still no word on another loose fur album other than "it's still in the works."
