dropped the kid off at the grands this morning, then spent the rest of the day doing final packing before the big move tomorrow. currently enjoying the silence and sipping a beer to numb my sore feet.

Today I was walking down the street right outside my apartment complex and this guy drives by, makes a u-turn, and calls me a name I will not repeat. But he fucked up.

I watched him pull into the gas station at the corner about a quarter mile away, so a ran back to my apartment, jumped in the Vette, and tore out of there to go confront this motherfucker.

Sure enough, when I got there some guy was getting into his SUV thing with a case of beer. Same car I think. I had to turn the car around to get back where he was, but he has already pulled out.

I tailgated the dumb fuck back to his apartment nearby, and he parked kinda out of the way. I pulled in next to him and glared at him but he wouldn't look my way.

When he finally got out I said, "you say something to me!?" But then he kinda stuttured out "n-no I didn't say anything?"

But there was a problem. This guy's voice was too high pitched. It didn't sound like what I heard on the street exactly. I blurted out "oh wrong guy then," but by then he was already scurrying to the stair well.

So I'm not positive this was the guy. Might have terrified some random asshole, but I'm still about 60% sure this was the guy.

I dunno, it was pretty funny.

Maybe his voice got all high because he was afraid of you in your lipstick looking car

I'm just glad he didn't have to see me try to climb out of it. I can't imagine he would be very intimidated after seeing that.

My gun was in the center console. Not exactly an inconspicuous car to make a getaway though. I suppose I'd just have to try to drive off if he started firing.
