Make the each wild card play-in series a double header to start. Then have a rubber game if need be the next day.

Even when one of the wild card teams has the 2nd best record in the league?

Regarding player images:
MLB.com is pretty sad. If it’s a legal thing about likenesses, ok. If it’s not, it’s such a dick move.

I believe it's a legal thing--with no labor deal in place, MLB can't make money off stuff like that. Apparently jersey sales are still ok, as I see some current players up for sale at the Red Sox team store (including lots of Andrew Benintendi shirts--lol).

I love that Justin Verlander's contract renewal with the 2017 world champion houston astros was finalized today, weeks into the MLB lockout.

You just can't predict baseball.

Wow it’s crazy. Already been 5 years now since the Astros were good. Well, in a few weeks, anyway.

I'm trying to figure out if Skitch moved to New Mexico and skewed the numbers there.

I’ve never heard anyone in real life even mention Ohtani, maybe a few times as “that new Japanese.”

You guys is this season really in jeopardy? Like, what's the threat level on a scale of 1-to-midnight?

I wouldn't be shocked if there's a deal around March-1st-ish, spring training starts 3/10, start of season is pushed back. Around 140 games like 1995.

That would rule. Season needs to be shorter.
