I think about owls all the time. I love them. I bet I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen them in the wild. I really wish we had a resident owl.Ello Sailor wrote:Owls are dope. Just went back there to see if he had been brutally murdered but he was just chilling. And then he just took off flying. I kinda thought he maybe couldn't fly or was a chick or something but I guess he just wasn't flying away while they were bullying him.Ello Sailor wrote:Owls are dope. I have had many cool experiences with a variety of species of owls. A couple years ago had a legendary experience with 3 pretty large ones who seemed to be totally confused by my headlamp and let me come right up to them. But I have a lot of wildlife experiences. Pretty sure I saw a wolf in the dark by the river about a week ago.daft twat wrote:I think about owls all the time. I love them. I’ve never seen a wolf in the wild. I live in a St. Paul suburb with a ranch behind my house; however, you can also see Costco and Top Golf from my house. We see turkeys and deer daily and see coyotes occasionally (hear them nightly). We have a resident pheasant and an active eagles nest is visible in the distance, A raccoon was on our deck last week and possums abound. Foxes are not uncommon. Someone even got a photo of a bobcat a couple springs ago, but I’ve never seen one. I have seen an owl a couple times, but none in the last year. Seeing a wolf would be incredible.Dev wrote:I have had many cool experiences with a variety of species of owls. Bummer. On the other hand, user Strat gave you a nice shoutout in his band Wayside’s Insta post. I said out loud, “Trag!” but I was alone and even if I wasn’t, everyone in my house would have been confused because RM is my secret side family.tragabigzanda wrote:Some friends had us over for dinner tonight. Smash burgers, salad, fixings. Looked and smelled awesome. Then their youngest blew chunks all over the dining room floor, followed promptly by their dog licking it up. Kind of killed my appetite!
