If I was picking an All World team today he would absolutely be a top 2 pick though. That ability to get your shot off whenever you need to is unbelievable. That he makes so many of them is crazy too. He could only shoot 18 footers for the rest of his career and still average 23 a game.

Me, I got extremely angry and drunk and broke things while listening to Slayer and Chimaira after the game last night.

But it was a blocking foul though.

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. It was still complete crap to call it in that situation. On a play that likely decides a game you need to let the players earn it if at all possible instead of bailing them out with free throws.

I don't get that rationale. You want the right call because its the freaking NBA finals. They reviewed it because they didn't know if he was in legal position, not because they thought he was in the circle. It's a way to give the refs a chance to make the correct call. And they did. Just because you make a great read doesn't mean you can't foul.

The refs have really drawn the Cav's ire, huh folks!?

Completely disagree. They are only allowed to review it if it may have been in the restricted area. Then when looking at that they can also review the subjective portion of the call of whether he’s in legal guarding position or not. That’s a horrible rule. Reviews should only be for objective things like in/out, 2/3, restricted/not. To review any sort of common foul is absurd because they are so subjective and because they aren’t reviewing every foul. The Cavs clearly got hosed on back to back foul calls just minutes earlier when lebron stripped KD and then on the next possession got fouled across the arm but no call. Even assuming that it was 100% clearly the most obvious block ever, which it wasn’t, it’s still ridiculous to allow the refs to reverse that subjective call but not the others because lebron’s foot was somewhat close (but far enough away that there’s no way that’s why they really looked at it) to the restricted area. It’s a massive double standard, it shouldn’t have been reviewed and the Cavs have every right to be upset that they didn’t have the ball up 2 with 36 seconds to play.
