There is so much we don't know. I wonder how much time reviewers and streamers/influencers will get with it before the release date.

What pro controller do you guys use? Just the standard Nintendo produced one? Or is there a good one out there that you like? I want to buy a new one in anticipation of Tears of the Kingdom. I don't mind paying good money for it, but the best one I've uses is just the nintendo controller.

The Nintendo pro controller is close to perfection. Not sure why you would want anything else.

Not sure I do want anything else? Was just curious if there was some magic aftermarket one out there that serious gamers use other than it.

I bought a non official controller last time with beautiful BOTW artwork on it.

The left knob started drifting not long into play.

Buy the official one. Every time.

A few things I hope they improve on from BotW:

The swimming mechanic. Either allow Link to dive, or just make swimming less clunky
The Yiga Clan. I hope they get rid of them or stop that appearing along the trail thing. They are just annoying.


A few things I hope they keep:

The shrines. Love them.
The towers. They were fun, especially when there are enemies around challenging you while climbing.

Things I'd like to see from past Zelda games:

Stalfos
Darknuts
Like Likes

I really dislike the overall cartoonish look of the common enemies … pigs, lizards … meh.

I wish they went all-in with cel shading.

Things I hope they improve..

Make weapons be able to last longer than like 2 fights without shattering

Having a limited weapons cache/slots while having weapons that break is really really annoying. I know it forces you to find korok seeds to get more but that’s time consuming as all fuck. i hope they change that

It’s kinda messed up Link wasn’t able to save them in his house for future use.
