Hey dorks, I recommend watching this. Well, not watching it, as the graphics are terrible, but listening to it. The best Star Wars story ever told was the KOTOR games (even though the second was never finished)
- People often criticize Star Wars (or make excuses for it) for being a limited world where artists can't explore anything of depth. These people give up too easily.
- A good way to add complexity to the series or deconstruct the Jedi crap (take notes, Rian.)
- Oh look, female characters that are actually interesting.
- The prequels would have been so much more interesting if they explored this stuff. I wonder if Lucas lost his nerve.
- Oh what could have been with the sequels... instead we got the Abrams the Human Xerox Machine and Rian "Subverting expectations is art!" Johnson.
- The Sith (Nietzschean Supermen) rule, Jedi (Pessimistic Buddhists) drool.

I love my son and I know he loves Lego but he's on his own for this one.

I wonder if Skitch will pull that "this was on the wrong shelf so you have to give it to me cheaper because it's the law" trick and get this

he'd have to be able to move it to the wrong shelf first.

Geez that's crazy. That's the point where a toy ceases to be a toy and becomes a "collector's item" only for adults.
Reminds me of the GI JOE aircraft carrier. No way a parent would by that for their kid. But dang if there wasn't that one kid that had it and made you jealous.

My kids have over 5,000 gray pieces. If I could get my hands on the instructions, I bet I could build that.

Fuck if you have that many you could just make a big papier mache ball and glue them all on and make the Death Star

My son built his own out of all the gray pieces he owns. He even makes runs to the local used Lego store for brick buys and has us special order pieces off the internet when he needs it.

The bar for "Awesomeness" has not been kept reliably high in this thread.
