Their defence goes through phases of being god awful. Now they're down 2 running backs and taking a look at Christmas past for help.

Bills are just as bad a team at 10-5.

The only thing worse than NFL fans are people who play fantasy football but aren't NFL fans.

Then when you give him credit again, he is there to completely suck ass and do amazingly stupid things at important times. We are nearing the suck ass phase of the Cousins cycle again - but the difference this time might be that he has Cook to rely on and, perhaps more importantly, a coaching staff that appears to know that they should run the offense through Cook and not put the game in Cousins hands. If Cook stays healthy, then MN is a contender, despite what bloopers Cousins has left up his sleeve.

What's the Saints' play here? If Antonio Brown is destined for the Commissioner's Exempt List, why even bother looking at him at this point? Is this a long con?

GM Thomas Dimitroff, HC Dan Quinn and his staff will be back in Atlanta next season.

I don't know, but I hate it.

My only guess is that they're trying to pull some move where they can get him relatively cheap for 2020. It's no secret that the Saints have needed someone opposite Thomas. And the Brees window is obviously closing. While they certainly have a shot this year, this might be Payton trying to look ahead to next year and throwing everything he can at all or nothing runs until Brees goes.

they could line Brown up outside and not even have him run routes and it would open things up for the offense three-fold

maybe if they sign him but keep him contained in a suite at the Four Seasons with tons of whores and booze 6.5 days a week and then drive him by rolls royce direct to the sideline 30 seconds prior to kick off; promptly collecting him when time expires and returning him back to his lair of excess, it will keep the NO locker room in tact and keep AB happy.
