It's not broken nor unfinished because it doesn't have a bridge. I don't think it calls for one really but it wouldn't hurt it to have one. I personally like the droning on the song does.

i dunno, i think its perfect the way it is. forcing a bridge in there actually might hurt the song.

Is this really a question? 'How can you...?' can usually be met with 'Because I did.' I'm not comparing it to a range of other songs in the canon, I'm just giving it an enjoyment score. Everything about these songs is so very enjoyable that they have a 4, in spite of being very basic structurally and not having a bridge. For me, a bridge which took the song temporarily somewhere else, would give them that extra point.

I'm just going to reiterate a point about this being early excitement for new rare songs, which can often bias someone's objective impression of the song. If you're giving the songs a rating of 4, I was just curious what other songs would come close or be comparable for you. I just think 4 is a pretty strong rating for songs of this calibre. That's all.

However, having said all that, I do believe these two new b-sides stack up with all of the old stuff, and the only reason I can imagine that they didn't go on S/T is that they were brilliant and everything else from S/T was not.

There's also a song that Stone brought in that Ed wrote some great lyrics to [a song] called 'Parachutes.' That's probably one of my favorite pieces of music that Stone has written in a long time. It's got a beautiful melody.

It's very interesting that it says 'around a dozen' here. I'm speculating, but might that be why there are a dozen placeholders online at the moment? They've said it'll be 'about 12' but haven't decided which ones yet? I find that possibility both encouraging and worrying. Encouraging for obvious reasons, but worrying because surely, there must be some great songs just *begging* to go on the album, and if there aren't...
