Just picked up TLOU remastered. I had an Xbox last gen, so I never got to play it. I haven't read anything about the story, so I'm really looking forward playing it.

My favorite game of the PS3/Xbox 360 generation. Enjoy it. Take full advantage of all the weapons and available. Experiment. Such a wonderful game.

Impressed with chapter one of the Wolf Among Us. Can't wait to play more when I have time.

So I'm wavering on which console to get this Christmas.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards having my PC (which gets most games eventually, with ridiculously cheap Steam prices) and buying a Wii U, since its games never end up on PC.

If I were to go for one of the new consoles, I'd probably get a PS4, but the expense of the games puts me off a bit.

Any suggestions?

Wii U is a lot of fun but it just depends on what kind of games you like to play.

I run the gamut. My reasoning is that Nintendo games never seem to come to PC, but most of the Xbox/PS games tend to get there eventually. That may be flawed reasoning, though.

there's a Final Fantasy/SquareEnix sale going on with PSN http://slickdeals.net/f/7113398-psn-squ ... s3-or-vita

if anything, it's a great chance to pick up Final Fantasy Tactics, which was a hard disc to find a few years ago when I bought it.

I got 100% on Red Dead Redemption this week, which is the first time I've ever done that on a RockStar game. Yay?

And then I tried playing GTA IV, but after RDR, it was too claustrophobic and slow. Maybe back to Mass Effect? Or Batman?

I could never get into this game. Seemed like it was about 90% dialog.

Well, dialogue that you choose and decisions you make. That's primarily what I like about it. To me, the combat is basically just a distraction you have to get through to get the to next dialogue scene.

So, it's like one of those choose your own adventure books?

Haha, in the most reductive terms possible, kind of. Obviously it goes a lot deeper than that.
