I think my new favorite thing is watching right-wing idiots who spent decades warning us of the rise of the police state defend the actions of police until they're blue in the face. It's cute to watch a movie from the '80s now where cops show up in droves of squad cars with nothing but a revolver. Now they have tanks, military-grade weapons, etc. and the same people are like "BLUE LIVES MATTER DERP DERP."

Well yeah in this specific case... but the idea that first responders are always gonna just sit there while bricks and rocks are thrown at them is crazy. The rationalization by the county commissioner is pretty insane as well.
