It's so good. I'm glad I finally jumped on the bandwagon. I'm wondering if I should read the books too, but that seems like a big commitment and I'm kinda lazy.

One of my favorite moments so far:
Spoiler: show

If you really want to pick up on the thing you missed you should read the books.

of course. loved that i had no idea it was coming, especially only two episodes into the season. i think that's a definite part of the appeal of the show- anything can happen at any time. i hated to see him go just because he was so fun to hate (and jack gleeson deserves a ton of credit for his portrayal), but it's such a rewarding character death. for it to happen when i least expected it to was icing on the cake.

Let's have a moment of silence for Joffrey; not because he's dead, but because he never got to titty-fuck Margery.

According to this: http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/790 ... e-date.htm the show will "spoil" plots from the 6th book. BUT Martin seems to think the 6th book will be released this October. So... there you go.

Just saw the early showing of S5 E1 in Denver. Obviously I won't give details, but quality as usual. I'll still be watching it again live on April 12th.

Is anyone going to watch the leaks? I think I'm going to hold off--half of the fun is talking about what happens, and I don't want to have to create triple-spoiler-tagged posts a few weeks in advance.

I will absolutely avoid the leaks. I'd rather watch it each week as they air.

Yeah I'm avoiding them. I heard the quality wasn't super.

No interest in the leak. Half the fun of the show is watching it/talking about it with other people. I don't mind waiting at all.

Tonight will be my first episode as a book reader. Will be watching with three non book readers.

You know, I've never actually watched with a non-book reader. I bet that'll be fun.

Apparently this season deviates a lot from the books, so it might not be as enjoyable as say watching with non-book readers for the Red Wedding or the mountain and the viper were

You don't have to tell it like it is, Marge.
