I only use my microwave to heat up pre-cooked hot dogs on days when I'm too lazy or the apartment is too hot to turn on the oven/stove. Or to reheat 2 or 3 day old pasta if I only have a few minutes before heading out the door, or I'm at work and all we have is a microwave.

I have one. It's a window unit. It's in the bedroom. And I'd rather not turn it on until absolutely necessary.
