I ain't even gonna lie, Phil. I keep hoping your Jays turn it around, and things like this are the reason why. You deserve some good tourney karma, especially after the way your team went out in the last tournament.

I had to look that up. I completely forgot the Jays won it 1992 too. They were an excellent team most of the 80s. I went to a few Yanks-Jays games back then and they always dominated. Pretty sick lineup they had.

That's why I said "over the last 20 years or so." I'm 30 years old. I vaguely remember some over the '92 series and my first real baseball memories are from '93. I love the history of the team and the game and everything, but referencing what the team did in the 80's is no different than telling a Cubs fan "Hey, at least you guys won back-to-back championships in '07-'08!" It really means nothing to me because I was to young to have any memory of it.

I was nine years old when Joe Carter hit that home run, and I haven't seen a single Jays playoff game since. It sure started on a high note, but there's been a whole lot of disappointment ever since.

FWIW, if we keep the interest level through 60 games (and it really appears as though we will), I think this tournament can be classified as one of RMs greatest successes.
