That was Sirens for me. I still remember the first time I listened to that song, which was when the official video was posted by them on YouTube. After the video ended, I stood in disbelief a few minutes, thinking "This can't be real, this must be a joke, right?" And then the album came out, and... Oh, well, now I can listen to it and I'm fine with it, but if it were any other band...
The second embarrassing thing was the Retrograde video. I like the song, actually, and the video wouldn't even be that bad... If Greta T. wasn't on it.
I'm not Dev. But I suppose he's a cool dude since someone thinks I'm him.

nah it was the fixer for me along with that awful video and commercial. got a lot of messages from friends knowing i was a fan saying things like “is the thing they’re fighting to get back again their integrity?”

Outside of the music, playing Oracle OpenWorld was a massive WTF moment for me. That was when it became clear to me that there was a price on their integrity. I mean, of all the tech firms... I'd understand it a bit if it was appearing at Salesforce Dreamforce, as Benioff does a lot of philanthropic work that I know would appeal to them (it certainly speaks to Neil Young, who features at many Dreamforce events in some capacity). But Oracle and Larry Ellison... jesus christ
