But guns aren't the problem here. It's the people. Ban guns? They will find a way to smuggle them in a la Paris or Chicago. Or highjack a plane. Or plant a bomb next to the security lines to planes. Or drive a truck through people. Or...

If people want to kill, they will.

It's the people. Removing guns won't solve the problem. But this has been argued to infinity in this thread. So it's pointless.

And yet we keep seeing more and more mass killings with out guns.

I think we can agree that 'ban trucks then' is a lazy thing to say though.

Guns, like trucks, have a highly valuable part to play in society...and as long as their use is limited to that purpose, everything is fine. It just so happens that, for guns, that purpose is as a tool used to shoot other gun owners.
