Do you have an account or something? I've actually been thinking of doing that so I can get the episodes without waiting for the randoms they release every few months.

Yeah, I have Stitcher Premium. $5 a month or $35 a year, and you get access tons of other archived shows as well, like WTF and U Talkin’ U2 2 Me?/R You Talkin’ REM RE: Me? (highly recommended). All the ads are removed as well, which is super nice if you listen to them as often as I do.

Really enjoyed the Boots Riley WTF. Haven’t listened to The Coup in forever. Cool that he made a film. Anybody seen it?

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yes, I've seen it. I commented on it in the movie thread. Is great. I want to listen to this interview.

The RFK Tapes is fascinating. I'm not sure I'm on board with the conspiracy but just the sheer amount of tape from that time is so fucking cool. It's kind of mind blowing how much tape they have.

There is a sextape of trump having sex with an underage girl. This is the kompromat. This is what the Russians have on him.

If you guys aren’t listening to amueller she wrote, you’re missing out.

They’re funny but mad smart and know what they’re talking about also it’s a great beat by beat of what’s happened each week. Like People resigning and quietly disappearing from the whole thing and the media not even covering it. They’re great.

They recommended another one today called Pod bless America, hosted by one of Obama’s speech writers and it’s slowed to be really funny and has its finger on the pulse. Must look it up.

PSA and Pod Save The World are top listens although PSA gets a bit too local for me sometimes.

The Intercept and Deconstructed round it off nicely.

This is great. Wish it was longer.

A Documentary On One listener shares a recording he had for safe keeping. It brings listeners closer than ever to Johnny Cash on his first tour of Ireland, twelve gigs in ten days. Few people remember the very first Irish performances by the country music legend who would come to love Ireland and be loved by the Irish. (2018)

It's pretty good but so sanitized at the same time. Makes San Quentin seem like a vacation destination. It's like they aren't allowed to talk about anything too ugly.

The first two episodes are about getting a good cellie and having pets. That CO at the end of the did only let's them talk about kids stuff. Does it get better?
