I know this thread isn't the place for this, but....
For people that support more covid policies can you see how some people would view the covid fear/public safety megaphones similarly to the terrorism (or whatever the convenient threat of the day is) fear/public safety if-you're-not-with-us-you're-against-us type of stuff that the war on covid supporters probably resent?

I'm not saying they are the same or equal. But the messaging and the ingroup/outgroup nature often feels like groups promoting their nightmare vision to justify government action that may not be based on the actual risks involved.

Also, hey that's not what my post said! Maybe saying War on Covid supporters would have helped. I forgot that wars on nouns should be expressed as a proper noun. Rookie mistake.

My wife has some kind of bronchial infection that is triggering her asthma. It's really bad. She can only breath when resting, can't talk and she's super depressed because it's been over a week. Family doctor prescribed stronger steroids which aren't helping. Doctor and an ER nurse friend said stay away from ER/hospital at all costs unless she thinks she's dying. They are overwhelmed with covid patients who are being treated in the halls and waiting room. :/
