What is the consensus? Zero Covid? Vaccine Passports until Zero Covid? An endemic disease that we treat like the flu?E.H. Ruddock wrote:"no consensus on what we want to accomplish"

That was reversed at a later hearing. She had been advised not to get vaccinated by her Doctor due to some health issue.Bi_3 wrote:E.H. Ruddock wrote:"no consensus on what we want to accomplish"

yeah i feel like the ship ultimately sailed on this awhile ago, when the US failed to implement a proper verification system around the vaccine.Bi_3 wrote:Green Habit wrote:Team Nate.
This presumes not only some type of national level verification and enforcement process, but also a continued highly significant difference between vaxx/unvaxx people in terms of personal and social risk.

I'm less concerned about the ultimate outcome than what this tweet illustrates about the vaxx/unvaxx debate in the public square.
I know here in NC they have a database of everyone because they did the lottery thing to give away money for getting vaccinated.spike wrote: or has it? everyone's names and DOB were taken down when they got the jabs, right? so presumably, this data could be pumped into a national database.
your odds of winning should be damn goodE.H. Yeah but B lives in NC too. If any of his 8 kids are over 12, I'm sure their household will win it.spike wrote:your odds of winning should be damn goodE.H. They should lose custody of their kids, amiright?B wrote:Lottery's over.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Yeah but B lives in NC too. Also, all of our COVID data gets sent to CDC daily, so Ruddo, you're already in the national database. I don't know what good it does the Feds since there was no requirement to present any ID whatsoever in order to receive a vaccine.
If they start a policy of cracking down on the unvaxxxed, there are going to be a lot of sad people who gave fake names in order to stick it to the man.
You can't even tell people to mask up on a plane without it leading to violence, but okGreen Habit wrote:Team Nate.

I'm sure that court case was much more complicated than twitter wanted it to be. Maybe poor COVID protections for a child was just one of many ways that family endangers their child.Bi_3 wrote:They should lose custody of their kids, amiright?
