I always loved that show, pretty much for its sloppiness.

Slopfest with superb versions of "Daughter" and "Black" and a cool surfing story after "Grievance."

I feel the same way about Detroit that year. One of the biggest abortions of the tour (Nothing As it Seems) and Ed especially flubs both State & In My Tree but that set, the first half in particular, is scorching and among the best I've heard them.

Now I'm playing Washington, DC 2006-06-22.
The absolute destruction of Evacuation, which breaks down totally, then leads to an urgency filled and chaotic Corduroy.
I love it.
Then comes I'm Open/I am Mine/I Got Id....very beautiful string of songs.

Isn't that from '08? I was there and remember that; their run after Evacuation through the end of the first set is fantastic.

Today is the 14th anniversary of one their legendary shows; Mansfield III 03. You know how Sirius likes to play sets on/near their original date so it was not a surprise to hear this playing this morning. Got to hear a good chunk of the pre-set on the way into work this morning.

Yes it is! Now listening to one of my all time favorites: Washington D.C. 1/14/1995. I can't wait to hear Soldier Field sound this good!! In December or January....

New Orleans '03. Crazy Mary is so chill.
Its one of the first songs I remember that made a political statement without being preachy. This little girl, poor, with violence being obvious. It really changed me.

Is there a mix of covers played from the 2016 Tour? I downloaded the rarities mix but it seems to be missing some covers, (Velvet Underground, Suicide,...etc,.)
