We'll get that on their amazing posthumous release.

It's refreshing to see Ed just sing, not endlessly ham it up to the audience.

Oh my god yes. I can't listen to recent shows because of this. its so tiresome. I find myself getting angry and just turning it off and listening to something better.

Given to Fly latter days
What I really got out of that is that Mike was a better guitarist, a much better guitarist on drugs.

Strat, god bless him, always comes back. He can throw out as many "RIP PJ :peace: " posts he wants, but deep down, he's a charter member of the Jamily. Just when you start to doubt him, he's thumbing his way back to PJ fandom. I, for one, welcome him back and love to watch him riding high amongst the fans.

He's clearly a better singer now. Listen to all those extra notes he manages to fit in there.

I think that second performance could be as good as the first one if they just; slowed it down, Ed didn't let the crowd sing so much for him, the mood/atmosphere was more.......moody, and Ed wasn't so damn cheerful.

I think he relegates so much to the crowds to avoid the screaming. In the 98 video his vocal chords are desperately begging for mercy.

It's all part of trying to attract more mainstream audiences.

Besides relegating so much to the crowd, I thought Ed's singing was pretty alright here.

I mean he's as old as Springsteen was on the E-Street reunion tour, in that video. So that's probably a fair assessment.

Let's not start being fair to Ed.
