The first push notification I got about this wasn't that the Dolphins hired him but rather that the Niners will receive compensatory picks because the Dolphins hired a coach who identifies as multiracial.

Idk I have no idea but I'll admit I was kinda confused initially.

Anyway, we'll see what happens. My preference was for Pederson but whatever. Who knows. He'll probably look like a genius if Tua turns the corner and won't last very long if he doesn't.

Yeah, he has potential, just have to hope for the best. I love how so many people pretend they know what's going to happen with a new coach. Odds are he won't last long, because that's how the NFL goes, but you never know. Dolphins defense is pretty great right now and it looks like they're not going to mess with that much, and with his experience with the offensive side of the ball, there's potential there. Just have to wait and see.

Agreed. I have no idea. I'm relieved they went offense but beyond that who knows. I think I'm lower on the defense than you but it certainly has potential and is much further along than the offense.

for those who don't know and who are curious, McDaniel was recently interviewed by Rich Eisen for the Rich Eisen broadcast, who proposed to him a challenge, to speak one of the three head coach press conference clichés he often discusses on his show in one of Mike's upcoming press conferences. Mike did him one better and guaranteed he will speak all three
