Yes I love Pearl Jam. Not going to apologize for that. Lightning bolt is their worst album and for some reason I hold out hope they put out an album worthy of excitement again.

I'm sorry I offended you by saying you're in love with Ed, but oh my God, you have to be able to take a step back and recognize that you've been weirdly defensive in this thread any time someone has said unkind thing about him, whereas you're quick to call Dave A. a brat and a bitch and whatever. Which is the whole thing I've tried to argue against.

Weirdly defensive as in putting forth a potential argument that Dave A might not be all roses and ice cream and Ed might actually be genuine?

I am no more defensive about Ed than others are about Dave A.

I actually love Dave A too! But he has been the brat here! And its hilarious that some people dont see that or even care to stop and think that maybe..just maybe...Dave A was the problem.

Also, i wonder if Dave Krusen and the jams played through other Ten songs. That'd be fun to hear.

Is it true that Glorifed G was written after Dave A mentioned wanting to buy a gun? If so, that's all the proof I need that Eddie was the asshole.

With Dave after all these years we really don't have much to go on as to what went down. There's Dave's side of the story which we've heard, but we've heard little from the band aside what was in the PJ20 book and some errant comments. Just that he didn't fit in. My sense is it's fairly typical dynamics that happen to many bands. One band member was going through an especially hard time with something. Whether or not you agree with how he's handling it or not, he's your bandmate, you're on his team. You've gotta make sure he's alright, or there is no band to play for. More importantly than that, he's the star so he holds the cards. Your the drummer that they hired cause they were desperate to get the Ten touring plans going. Somehow the band took off, but you gotta recognize your 1 of 5 people and that they gotta be getting along with you. I dunno, at the end of the day, it's just relationships, I think the fan viewpoint is just one very skewed version of what probably really went down. I hope someone in the band writes a book and we learn more about all of this.
