got word today that all of our shit is being delivered this Thursday from 9-12..too much stuff but looking forward to a real bed and no more blow up mattresses in the future...

my back has been fine..its my left shoulder that tends to hurt from the way I sleep..most of my body aches have been from playing golf again..I'm a mess the day or 2 after...getting old

Really enjoying my new job. Boss is sound but he’s delegated ‘looking after me’ to a total melt. A weapons grade wreck the head micro manager and despot who is a thick as shit and has interpreted this ‘looking after me’ as total power over me. To such a ridiculous degree. Calling me I mean quite literally mean every 5 minutes, to tell me when I can go to the bathroom, it’s time for my break, incoming delivery in 13 minutes so be ready at the gate to let them in (you then go to the gate as instructed then he calls to ask why you’re there, they’re not here for another 8 minutes)

Then yesterday? He’s out sick cos his blood pressure is acting up he’s gonna be out today also. He goes on about his hypertension blood pressure problems. Dint worry pal we can all tell you have hypertension and you seem to be determined to give it to everyone around you too.

Other than that it’s a great spot. Total piece of piss. If there’s any downside apart from him, it’s almost too easy and might get boring. Anyways. Got my first payslip today even though I won’t be paid for another two weeks. Govt jobs are the best. Robust Pension and benefits folks. Get in there!!

I went to the local store this morning to get my daily paper..an older man that looked like Marc Maron approached me before I entered..he took off his hat and put it over his chest and asked me if I could help him out with some food..At first I though he just wanted cash..I asked him what he wanted and I would bring it out..He asked if he could go into the store with me and pick out a few things.I bought him a bag of regular lays chips, a Cadbury chocolate bar, a bag of dried fruit and an orange gatorade...he was super nice and I felt like a did my good deed for the day..we were at the checkout and he asked if I could also buy him a reusable bag for $4....fun start to the day

in 3 hours I have to take my FIL to the doctor for new hand bandages while we have a new apartment full of boxes that need unpacking..

Just finished second week. It flew by. Great fun mainly cos the prick is out ‘sick’. He has a doctors cert covering him until next Friday. lol. He’s gone on holiday, let’s be honest.
No training no. I’m overqualified for this and especially more so than the little gimp who’s out sick and he knows it too, but I’ll take over in time.
