I do agree it would be too light on rockers ,so the last thing you want to do is remove a rocker. But Dark Matter IMO just does not fit, thematically, musically, or in any way. And making the album a bit shorter isn't necessarily a bad thing. And hey, it would make Running stand out even more than it does. I think Dark Matter just sorta...distracts, and waters down the album a bit. It sounds remarkably cohesive but this is the one black spot in its cohesion

That was such a great interview, great seeing the tour through the headquarters.
That place will be a museum someday

But for now, the band seems collectively more energized and excited about this album then I've ever seen them; especially Stone & Jeff.
Feels like Dark Matter has ignited a new fire in the band and that they're happier then ever to be in this band.

Haven't seen them this happy since their first record.

Check out the version from Barrie 1998 - if you haven't already

That version turned it from a Meh...to a fuck yeah!!

fwiw Ruddo, Trag would probably disagree with every word of this so it is all subjective, and I don't *always* hate Matt's snare approach; it really worked for Riot Act's more cold, downbeat vibe; "Can't Keep" and "Ghost" sound really good with a fat snare
