Moonlight. Honestly I doubt I would have watched if it was not named Best Picture. I don't know if it was the best from last year but I can see why it was nominated and so well received by the critics. It is interesting that a gritty, low budget independent urban film with a largely unknown cast got the upset.

Those old Bible epics sure clean up nice in HD. King Of Kings is stunning.

Saw T2 Trainspotting yesterday, which spurred me to rewatch the original for the first time in years. After watching both, I think the sequel is more interesting.

Spoiler: show
If the girl from Split teams up with Bruce Willis's Unbreakable character to fight The Horde, well that right there sounds like a movie I'd definitely watch.
Considering MNS said he's working on a third movie in the series...

Watched "Free State of Jones" and it was alright. Kind of rough at times but it was an interesting story.

The only stuff I've seen is him saying it's happening. Considering it's a Disney property and it was a 'favor' to have Bruce Willis and those characters in there, I wonder how likely it will be to happen.

Didn't he already confirm it's going to be an Unbreakable crossover?

I don't think she'll be in the sequel. I think Split is essentially just an origin story for the Horde.

I mean, I have no confirmation on that or anything. Just a hunch. She didn't exhibit any kind of special abilities, did she?

I never would have been interested in Split if I didn't just read the spoiler about it but now that I know I wish I had watched the movie and been surprised. Life.
