Re: Talk about your day thread
Made a last minute trip to the grocery last night before they closed to pick up something I'd forgotten on an earlier trip. Was the first car at a stop light of an intersection, light turned green and as i took off, a car came barreling through the intersection running a very, very, very red light. It was probably going about 60-70mph on a 25mph rode. I looked up and saw the headlight literally feet from me as i punched the gas and swerved to the left a little. It missed t-boning my driver side by probably centimeters.
This isn't an uncommon occurrence where i live. There are repeatedly stories in the news about cars running red lights and wrecking, usually unlicensed drivers.
I got to the grocery and just squatted down in an empty aisle for about 3-4 minutes trying to gather myself. Woke up this morning at about 5am and couldn't get it out of my brain. Still pretty shook today just thinking about what almost was.

Re: Talk about your day thread
yellow jacket hopped in the truck with me this morning. had no idea until I turned off my road and it got me on the side of my nose up by my left eye. red, swollen, and infuriating. been stung probably 20 times in the past two years. way above average and I'm sick of it
