Only thing that stops it is injuries. That's it.

I think 700 pages would be a good spot to lock this thread.

Lock it until the Bulls are playoff eligible.

Yep. Multiple injuries.

Sure, it's not 100% that the Warriors will win the championship, but barring multiple significant injuries during the playoffs their chances are closer to 100% than should probably ever be true.

Warriors can only pay Boogie 6 million next year so he is gone....I bet the Knicks offer him the max and instantly regret it...then if Klay leaves to the Lakers and Draymond gets his money the league will even out.

Klay's not going anywhere (in my heart).

Even if he's just competent this year the Knicks will strike out on all the big free agents next year and give Boogie the max.

Maybe it's because the contracts are so large that taking a discount isn't that big of a deal anyway. Maybe some owners have found ways around the cap to low key pay players in other creative ways. Idk. But a league with a pre-determined champion isn't very interesting to me. Apparently I'm the only one. 12 year olds seem to love the Warriors so I guess the league will be fine.

Global sport now and the west coasters are closer to China.

No sports league gives a crap about the people who actually love it, it's the bandwagoners that they crave.

One move the league could do is just give the top 16 teams a playoff spot. In a few years there would be enough talent drafted in the East to make things a bit more interesting.

it's not a good look right now, but the league tends to zig and zag over time, so I wouldn't change any rules at this pt.

As for Butler, a league source said that he also has no intentions of signing an extension with Minnesota, all but fed up with the nonchalant attitude of his younger teammates, specifically Karl-Anthony Towns

Anything after the first 3 teams is just throwing money away.
