I watched the Simpsons for the first time in years this evening.

I watched a whole bunch last night.

Have you ever watched the dvd's with the episode commentary on?

I've tried but I can never make it through an entire episode.

I did it a few years ago with my favorite episodes. Some interesting stuff to me.

I recently watched, with commentary, the one where Skinner is exposed as a fraud from season 9. It's pretty funny hearing the writer get all defensive about all the fan backlash about that episode.

I've never watched anything with the commentary on. I've tried, but hearing people talk shit over the top of anything is like being at the cinema and sitting next to a couple of people talk all the way through.

It's way different when you already know what's happening in the episode.
