I saw them on tour for their second album, so a few years later, and Cornell came out and did Call Me a Dog which was really nice.

My point is, I think any opportunity to see Morello, Y.tim.K & Wilk play together is a beautiful thing

yeah, saw them again in 05 & Rusty Cage, Spoonman, Loud Love, Black Hole Sun & Call Me a Dog were all dropped. Pretty dope in a pre-Soundgarden reunion world.
Unfortunately there was also the Bulls on Parade & Sleep Now in the Fire (Cornell versions) dropped at that show..

Just looked back on the setlist of the aforementioned Seattle 03 show. A Rush cover in the encore. I do not recall this happening. Also a Funkadelic cover in the main set.

A friend & I heard about the DNC protest show across from Staples Center, tried to run up there & get in but the cops had closed off the area already so we missed out. It was fucking nuts just on the outskirts of the area. This was about a week before I started my freshman year of college. At least I got to see the show later on DVD.

i would have been amazed to see Audioslave live even if Chris voice kinda sucked.
