When my kid starting physio after he was run over, his leg had been in the same position for nearly ten weeks due to infection issues. He would come out of physio sessions and tell me he cried pretty much the whole 45 minute session. Honestly i think this ends with surgery.
I know far too many people that have dealt with it and at best they manage their pain.
