Yeah, the only way this makes any sense is if they go to the Super Bowl.
Also, it ain’t my money

They’ll probably sign him to this massive deal and then he’ll have a season ending injury in training camp.

That prices the Cards out of the Cousins race.
They'll probably be tempted to trade a buttload of picks for Foles and pick up his $7M contract. They have the No. 6 defense and DJ coming back, but a tight, closing window with their best vets (Fitz and Chandler Jones) and some expiring contracts with big decisions in the next couple of years.
They need to win now and certainly don't have time to "develop" a QB.

i mean, trading a 1st round pick and a 3rd/4th round pick for a proven QB winner seems like an easy choice to make IMO
you can draft a young QB with a 1st rounder and he could be a bust or takes a couple years to develop
with Foles you know he is capable of doing it. you might need to adjust your offensive style to fit his skills but you know he can close
much better situation than bankrupting your team for a QB that has never won a playoff game and doesn't beat teams with winning records

Stop making 100% serious posts without any kind of punchline at the end.
I mean, dammit, I don’t even know you anymore.

Bennett to the Eagles & Ogletree to the Giants are pretry solid moves for both teams... but I thought both needed to shed cap?

Ogletree I understand
I don't understand the Bennett thing tho
maybe the Eagles plan to deal a bunch of vets for picks on draft day

Foles fits that profile.

Sherman said he wants to go to a "Contender" ... after a post-season that saw the Jags, Vikings, and Eagles advance to their Conference Championship games - who even knows who is a contender any more?
I don't even know who I am anymore?
what has life become?

Ok, so Jarvis Landry is in Cleveland now as is Tyrod to I guess compete with whomever they draft since they traded Kiser to Green Bay to austensibly do nothing behind a guy about to make 30 million plus coming off injury and they got back a CB for that I guess.
Buffalo is i drafting a QB I feel certain, unless they turned the TV off when Peterman was playing and missed that.

IMO Buffalo will trade up to #2 with the Giants or the Browns #4, that is if the Giants are telling the truth about rolling with Eli. Browns will take their QB of choice at #1 and have their best QB group in 20 years, Bills will get the 2nd or 3rd best prospect.
