Mustard?

Neither is a ham or turkey sandwich, and a lot of people put mustard on those. Why does the bacon change the equation?Jorge wrote:Mustard?

Insalata Russa (Russian Salad) or Italian Salad as we call it in Scandinavia.

Re: Tha Mayonnaise Wars
A chef in Moscow made the first salad, from Italian ingredients, and called it Italian salad. In Italy it became a Russian salad.Jorge wrote:What happened thereAnders wrote:Insalata Russa (Russian Salad) or Italian Salad as we call it in Scandinavia.
Similar to Danish pastry. In many countries in Europe it’s called a Vienna Bread, including in Denmark. That’s because the first one was made by a chef from Vienna, for the Danish king.

Re: Tha Mayonnaise Wars
It’s actually a Norwegian picture of an «Italian salad».durdencommatyler wrote:That second pic is just cole slaw, Anders.

But yes, it’s similar to coleslaw. Usually a bit softer, milder, and chopped in smaller pieces. More carrots, and even ham.
