The just started filming the 3rd and final season in January (I think). Should be out later this year.

Chef's Table was definitely one of my favorite Netflix produced shows. Really hope there's another season.

He was a story editor, right? I think that's the guy who takes the footage and fashions an actual story with it. So, he's kind of a big deal.

The series falls apart for me at the end a bit for me (others like it), but you're probably right that it's the best thing Netflix has produced so far. Ben Mendelsohn alone is a homerun.
