Aren't you unemployed?
it's complicated
Do you want to talk about it?
I have plenty of stuff to do with the wind down of the ice cream co -- sell all sorts of equipment, various administrative tasks -- while simultaneously hunting/interviewing for jobs. I'm still putting in solid 40-50 hour weeks but not earning a dime. FML.

Serious question -- Are you guys actually having fun in this game yet? Or are you just marveling at the scope of it all?
I've only played about 3 hours or so. Still learning all the systems/mechanics/characters. I like the general vibe of the game so far.

I want this game to reorient how I play. I’m not looking for “fun.” I want something different and new. We’ll see.

I’m having a lot of fun. Sure, there’s a lot to learn but it’s fun to explore.

Collected some debt money and a got a little too rough with the guy in the process. Another dude witnessed me doing it and the guy took off to tell the authorities. I chased him down him on my horse, lassoed the poor prick, and jumped off my horse and hog tied him. That was awesome.

If I had the time I would buy a PS4 just for this game.

I’m missing this after already having missed Zelda Breath Of The Wild. Damn kids.

Trag wouldn't enjoy cowboy fun. Too much toxic masculinity.

uh huh... probably not like in the game though. they're modern cowboys. they probably aren't racist, enjoy post-modern art and treat their women well.

https://www.polygon.com/2018/10/25/1802 ... comparison

I had a look at that now, and you are right. However, it does say that the Xbox One X is the best of the four options.

"The base Xbox One renders the game at a 864p resolution, which is by far the lowest of all four options. The PlayStation 4 version runs at a native 1080p; the PlayStation 4 Pro renders the game at 1920x2160, and then upscales it to 4K via what is likely checkerboard rendering, leading to a “softer” image.

But the Xbox One X is able to run Red Dead Redemption 2 at native 4K resolution, leading to the sharpest, highest-quality visuals of all four versions.

That’s not surprising — the Xbox One X is the most powerful and most expensive console currently on the market — but the difference in clarity is striking, even when viewed on YouTube. You either get the lowest-resolution choice or the highest, depending on which Xbox One console you currently own."
