I’ve stayed away from it the past months. I want to be able to binge the whole Vader fortress on mustafar story. It’s sposed to be great.

I’m about 7 issues behind right now.

The Mace Windu comic was pretty lame and boring.

Yeah he’s a really boring character on screen and in other media

We DID get Apprentice Mace Windu though ...

This is terrible. He’s been at the hard end of receiving endless abuse and threats from those assholes for a few years now. Then this?? Bad call marvel or Lucasfilm or whoever made the call

Writer Chuck Wendig says he's been taken off of issues #4 and #5 of the five-issue "Shadow off Vader" mini series. His words are below.

i'm just catching up on the Vader series and holy fuck..they're either after breaking or changing a rule
if theyve changed it, (really dont open that spoiler if you dont want to know anything)

we might be getting Sith force ghosts maybe even in ep9...and a sith just stopped time...ffs!!

if theyve just dropped the ball, ouch.

this Vader series is so awesome though..cool reminder of how brilliant comics and storytelling through comics can be.

at the very heart of it, yes thats what those people(bots and comicsgate trolls were doing)

in the macro sense he got fired for being vulgar in his response for Kavanaughs nomination to the supreme court.

thats what did it apparently..hes always used bad language and was hired to write for star wars and then marvel..

apparently the main guy at marvel is a massive trumptard and didnt like chucks language or twitter rants..

Was that not a separate series to this one? Wendigs been taken off but I was sure it’s a different series no?

Yeah, Wendig's project was a different book; still Vader based, but different.

This one will end soon as well I thought. In graphic novel form the last one is out in January.

I should probably post this in the ROTJ thread given my last post there but this Vader run really really expands on the Vader Palpatine dynamic and feeds so much into both the prequels and OT eras as it pertains to those two. There is so much gold in there. Can’t say enough good stuff about it.

Yes, I think you're right. Pretty sure this current Vader run is wrapping up soon. Like two or three more issues? Something like that.
