i bought a couple giant black pig sausages when we arrived and carried them around just slicing pieces from them

and drinking local moonshine

all the food there was incredible quality

As a frozen pizza connoisseur I also have a special place in my heart for shitty fantastic Totino's.

I haven’t had a Totinos since college. Some things should just remain in that time capsule. But the best way I found to eat a Totinos back then was to take it out the oven about halfway through... when it’s in the soft stage between frozen and crispy. Roll it up like a burrito, stick a skewer through it to hold it in place, then cook it the rest of the time to get it crispy. I called it a Burrtino.
