His production kind of sucks though. He often goes mono, and it’s all right in the middle between slick and bland. Awesome songwriter, just wish he made better use of the studio.

To me if the songs are good I can put that stuff aside, and these songs are too good to let some minor production miscues ruin them.

Man, I thought Passage du Desir was his best thing by a wide margin. Sound & Fury is great, but that one really suffers from the production choices, IMO. I bet the tour was amazing.

I’ve found every one of his shows on soulseek. About 2 weeks into the tour and this band is absolutely on fire.
