But I don't know if any of the VS tracks would make the cut either.

And there's been no mention of Gone yet. Unbelievable. Is it that it's just so inoffensive?

btw, Parachutes, All Or None, NAIS. :luv:
Im not sure anyone likes gone though,
oh yeah, you are good with the album version? i still think the demo and ed solo versions are decent, but i cant get into the full band version at all.
It's not my favorite but I like the album version leaps and bounds above of the Ed solo version.

I want to like In My Tree more, but just don't. Just blah about it.
I would have to add Why Go, Glorified G, 1/2 Full.

The only thing that bothers me about the album version is that there was a demo that came before it.

I thought the demo was a singular moment. I thought it was a nice present to give fans. Much like Angel or Happy When I'm Crying. It bugged me that it ended up on an album because I wanted it to be a rare fan club track.

But that's all just overly precious bullshit. And I'm all too susceptible to that kind of nonsense. When I let go of that I have zero issue with the album version of Gone.

This really surprises me. Never would have guessed.

I've only admitted this one or two other times on this board and I always fear for my life.
Don't worry, I'll protect you.

Thing is, I don't think there's a single Pearl Jam song I don't like but should.

I can't think of a single one.

Thejambi wrote: Beast drumming, great intro, strong lyrics, great soaring vocal melody and delivery, driving rhythms with well placed and subtle leads, strong build up and explosiveness towards the end. This is a perfect Pearl Jam song in my books.
Sorry to make this about In My Tree but Thejambi couldn't be more right.
