In all my years of playing drums, playing last nights show for Pearl Jam was the most epic experience I’ve ever had as a musician!
I am indeed so incredibly grateful!!
And just to think I get to do that again tonight!
To Ed,Jeff, Mike, Stone and Josh, I love you!
Cheers to Matt for a speedy recovery and a big thank you for your blessing. It’s an honor to step and deliver the goods.
Ok, I am rock ready to keep the rock rolling…with unexplainable primal drumming energy of pure bliss.
I live for this!

we had a brief exchange in 2017 after i bought RNMD´Ghost Riding in Japan and i sent him a picture. He was surprised it was a tower records and they had a whole section for RNMD.
Cool guy.

Three things:
1) good for that dude. He lived the dream all of us had/have of getting miraculously called up to sit in with the band. Fuck yeah.
2) that quite a case of male pattern baldness Ed has going on there
3) now Pearl Jam has had 2 Matts, 2 Daves, 1 Jack, 1 Richard, 1 Jimmy and, in the same night, 2 Joshes.

I think we had a thread of what drummer you’d like to sit in with Pearl Jam and Richard Stuverud was distinctly discussed. We make our own realities folks.

Has to be a pretty good chance of this happening, right?
He’s a California local, he’s now pretty tight with Josh too, etc.
I have to think so why not ? Even for only a handful of songs.
God please happen. Please nobody else get sick
Watching that Ledbetter video got me. Fan living my dream. His girl jumped into his arms and didn't let go after.
What a cool moment.
Can't wait for tonight
It would NEVER happen, but just what if Dave A showed up for a few songs?
Oh he’ll show up. Security just won’t let him backstage.

If that works, then we would have manifested Dave A. back by now.

Band sounds great - thanks for posting those videos! What a great show for those that got to be there- and I agree with B - opening with Rockin in the free world? holy shit...

Take it for whatever, but "Josh" wasn't just a random guy - he's Jack Johnson's and Ben Harper's stage manager and drum tech.
Or so I've heard.

Love the drum fills toward the end of Seven O'Clock in that video from a page or so back. 6:55 onward.

Don't get me wrong - still an awesome experience for the guy. Just not as genuine an experience as it may have been presented.
