i guess SARS lasted 9 months?
now that borders are shutting and flights cancelled, how long does one wait to reverse that? esp if it continues to spread in China

Not bragging but I was in company with Bono one time and he was railing and ranting and he said big pharma has the cure for hiv/aids and they won’t release it coz they’ll be forced to give it to all African states for free and charge thousands per pill everywhere else to just break even so there’s no profit and they won’t do it.
Now Prep is available here for free and in other European countries yet it’s only marketed as a preventative drug for gay people. Not for all.

that makes this announcement make a little more sense:I'm actually a molecular biologist. I'm going to look at the papers in detail, but blast searches always come up with all sorts of things dependent upon the parameters set. This is also pre-peer review, so it should be taken with a grain a salt.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised either way. Both it being naturally occurring and something engineered are equally valid.
