And for as much as the dems hate the "old white man" you would think they would want to do better.
Who do the Democrats have that they could run in Biden's place? He's a bad candidate, but I don't think they have any options. The party is utter trash at the moment.

I actually think Gretchen Whitmer would be a pretty good option, but does she have national recognition?

The whole kidnapping thing.

She seems very reasonable, but limited on international policy experience and her support of BLM 'activities' in 2020 will be a liability next year. Would have been a shoe-in if she was the current VP.

I still can't believe they picked Harris for VP. What a dud.

she's black, and a woman, and her husband is Jewish

it's a triple whammy of strategic democratic demographic excellence

Newsom vs. De Santis

Let’s do this.

I don't know De Santis' origin story, but Newsom is just a dude that lucked out by being friends with a super wealthy family. It's not clear he has any original thoughts or qualifications other than his hair.

California could not possibly recover from foisting Harris and then Newsom onto the national stage.

I had somehow missed that Marianne Williamson already announced. Well now RFK Jr just feels redundant.

A Meatball/Tim Scott ticket would be pretty powerful for the GOP if this holds a few more months. Plus no matter what you think of his ideas, Vivek is doing incredible work for the red team. When is the last time somebody ran a campaign like his?

Scott is black and a republican so he has no chance

republicans have worked hard to make racism ok again

the guys that installed my pool fence during the pandemic and told me that Fauci created AIDS are not going to vote for a black guy, even as VP

Republicans are on quite the losing streak.

Maybe they should fire the coach.
