Since, it's been mentioned, it's worth re-checking that 9/11 performance. It's incredible on so many levels.

his voice sounds good

tough to sing like that when sitting down

i wonder if he stopped smoking cigarettes

feel like his voice hasn't sounded that crisp in a while

good for him
I know he went on his own tour but maybe the year off from touring with PJ helped his voice.

I love that the bridge "and the winds are blowing" off-chord is actually just a C :heartbeat:

The camera work is low-key tremendous on that too. They zoomed in on Ed at critical moments and nailed the money shot of getting Ed and Neil together at a very cool angle when they both sang at the end.

I found it incredibly frustrating to watch because the camera didn’t train in on Mike even once, and the first time they focused on Neil playing keys was right when Mike went into like a mini-solo ... almost as if the camera/producer thought it was Neil playing the solo.

Great performance, ok visual.

He was one of the few professional musicians who seems to have a decent set up for making music at home, and one of the few celebrities that considered what people would see on the television. The sweep across the room when the camera woman changed angles was a nice touch.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
