I've reordered my choices three times now. I'm sure I'll end up with nothing.

Pearl Jam has decided to include a GA pit in front of the stage at each venue taking up 1/3 - 1/2 of the floor. Ten Club has acquired the entire GA pit for fan club members only; therefore there will not be a need for early entry. Please know there are less GA pit tickets available in the drawing then there are reserved seated tickets. If you are not interested in standing for the entirety of the show, do not enter the drawing for GA tickets.
yeah this is awesome. how many people have bitched about this in this thread?

That is cool. I hope they do that in Australia instead of people waiting from 8am in the morning in order to get front row.

(for what that's worth)
I don't think so....that's why there's a priority ranking for all the tickets you choose.
Yeah. So B, you might choose:

1.) Char GA
2.) Char Reserve
3.) CharVille Ga
4.) CharVille Reserve

If you don't get #1, you still have a shot at #2. But if you are drawn for #1, your #2 choice is skipped, and your next shot is amoungst those who put CharVille as their #3. Your third choice does not get promoted to #2 because you had the same show for #1 and #2 and can only win one ticket type. Choose wisely Brandon-san.

Except... I'm not a member so maybe don't do that. :P

Well......happy for this tour for sure. I'll be doing Vancouver and Seattle as per usual. Hoping for beside the stage.....that's what I had last time, and it was by far the best experience I've had. Ed gave a tambourine to a couple just 10 feet to our left. I've finally forgiven him for not including us, so all is well. :peace:

I've been reading a little Pearl Jam 10 Club Members on Facebook since the announcement and its very interesting to see that while there is some disappointment in the announcement/tour locations, the blind loyalty still shines through: "I was hoping for Chicago, but I guess I'll have to fly to Buffalo." Have to think some of the tour coverage frustrations in the USA are due to fanbois who will drop hotel and plane money for good old fashioned grunge rock. I have never been to a show not in Illinois or a bordering state....I do my part to keep the whole supply and demand thing real. I wish others would do the same. Unless you live in South Dakota or something you shouldn't be flying to rock shows.

a one off gimmick show announced three months early hardly qualifies as part of the tour.

is that any more of an unreasonable reaction than boycotting a show you otherwise want to see (and have the resources to see) because, in a country the size of a continent, the band isn't playing every large and medium sized city?

Don't be an such an apologist. Unless there are plans to tour next Spring/Summer its completely reasonable to take issue with this "mini tour". There is a big difference between "not playing every single medium sized city" and what this band has done tour wise for the last several years now. It actually doesn't bother me much, I've seen the band plenty of times (many of which were when they still made interesting music). I'm simply pointing out that if fans didn't enable cherry picking on the band's part, maybe they would be forced to suck it up and at least make a half assed effort to do a real North American tour.

I agree entirely with you. The fan base as a whole are extreme enablers.

ok just read all 8 pages of thread, i was kind of mad but can't remember why..

oh i know, it was someone saying the south will have empty seats, you are wrong. fu

to the guy complaining about us complaining on this board, i was gonna totally flame you but forgot what you were bitching about so sorry bout that.

now, couple of things because i knows everyone cares .
The ga pit is just like bon jovi and metallica do for their fan club members, but seems to be a bit bigger at 1/3 to 1/2 floor.
Because it will be a bubble like area where only so many people can go, i don't expect it to be body crushing rush to get to the front for hours on end.
Plus, like others said, low number holders will be in their late 30's and early 40's and stage diving will be hampered by metamucil bloated bellys, frequent trips to the urinal based on enlarged prostrates and quite honestly, I have noticed a lot of older 10 clubbers kinda stink from lack of bathing and that slept in my friends van last night smell. Not quite deadhead stench yet but we can all strive for something right?

I don't like the floor cuz me and my gf are short and can't see shit unless we are up front or standing on a chair, so since chairs are gone, and i'm not gonna try to get in front of old smelly fat fucks up front, fuck the floor. If my reserved seats end up behind the pit, well, that sucks for me and i'm standing on a chair so sorry in advance to the people behind me. Not for the whole show, but about every 3rd song.. If possible I will enter for both ga and reserved and pray for tickets off to sides in the 100 levels, and trade where possible.

I will be going for OKC and Dallas in that order. I will have fun and enjoy it, unless i'm stuck behind tall people in the pit, in which case I will try and trade or just start spilling beer on people till they move..
:peace: :nice: :nice: :peace:

the should make the pit like a giant inflatable castle to minimize injuries/maximize fun.
