Pans out in Australia means that when it rains we put our pee/shit pans out in the rain to clean them. We then use them for a big communal cook up with everyone in the neighborhood and then eat together outside in the street. Tasmanian folk would then have sex with their relatives, but we don't do that because it's gross.
