America’s laws should keep our nation’s corporations firmly ordered to our national common good.

But laws shouldn't keep citizens firmly ordered to our national common good? So corps. are not people?

There was a study a few years ago... I’ll try to find it... that talked about corporations supporting national interests and the US was dead last in major economies. Upon reflection, it’s not that bad a place to draw a cut out for the GOP if they want to keep blue collar workers and still fight the woke wars

“Whenever a company’s internal or external culture runs counter to mine, that company shall be deemed a threat to the national interest and the power of the state wielded against them” would, I suppose, be the most comfortable way for conservatism to reconcile recent authoritarian urges with its general anti-regulation philosophies.

It has a very “look what you made me do” kind of energy.

I think the anti-regulation rhetoric has been far more political than philosophical for decades. All that's really happening now is that Republican rhetoric is coming closer to matching their actions, so this is a pretty easy transition to make for a lot of them.

I think corporate tax breaks have kind of vanished from their rhetoric, and I don't see it coming back, especially now that they see corporations as woke. Going to be another 4 years of mostly culture war on the right, I think. I agree with 2A & immigration being issues.

We need to balance our budget as a community. We should be focused on the environment. We need to solve immigration as an economic issue. We need to look at the environment as a national security issue and not just look at it as a causation issue. And there's no reason why Republicans should cede ground on those two incredibly important issues.

Thinking economically, Mexico will pay for the wall!
Thinking about the environment in relation to security means we should nuke hurricanes!

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has signed a bill into law allowing college athletes in the state to make endorsement money starting on July 1

The new law also allows schools to take up to 75% of an athlete’s endorsement income and redistribute to other athletes

Oh I don't agree with a word they say,but if I was presented with the option of throwing Ted Cruz or Liz Cheney into a volcano I'd choose Ted Cruz 100%
