i forgot. did you get the griddle or the extra burners (or the grill)?

and is it duel range?
36 inch griddle in the middle..i wanted the 6 burner but you know...
You have the same stove we have.

Let me know when you use your griddle and how many times you season it.
i don't plan on using the griddle to be honest..i guess you don't season yours with peanut oil like they suggest, eh?
I’ve owned mine for 4 years. I’ve never used the griddle.
yeah, i don't know when i'm ever going to use it..i tried to argue but to no avail..twice a year i'll probably have to clean up pancake batter
You never answered my question about whether yours is dual range.
i looked back and you're right..i didn't

mine's not, and that's my second regret. ours abuts up against a tiled wall, and the exhaust from the gas oven forms condensation on the tile when the oven preheats. we wouldn't have gotten that with an electric oven (and we would've gotten more even baking).

gracias.

one noticeable difference between baking and cooking is with the former, a scale makes all the difference.

Cooking is messing about whereas baking is actual science.

guys, help me out here: I can't get the sous vide to do what I feel like it should be doing. For example: I tried the omelette recipe and the egg didn't really cook as much as become really mushy. the night was spent being very unhappy in the bathroom because the egg wasn't cooked all the way. I did what it said - put it in the bag at 160 for 15 minutes - and even left it in there for another 15 because hey it didn't look done when I took it out the first time.

am I approaching it the wrong way? like I'm so used to crock pots "start and forget" cooking style that I need to change something for this?
