Haven, now in public beta, turns any Android smartphone into a sensitive security system. It’s primarily intended to be installed on a secondary phone — say, last year’s model — which then takes photos and records sound of any activity in a room where it’s placed. Haven will then send alerts of any intrusion to a user’s primary phone over encrypted channels.
Wasn't this pretty well known at the time? The tools for hoovering up phone calls and the like resulted in far too much data to effectively comb for actionable intel.

Everyone knew but the US Gov wasn't gonna cop to it.
Seems like Snowden was more discerning with what he leaked than Manning. Maybe he too should transition so he can be brave and stunning.

Did he give up all those zero day hacking tools? Seems like the feds had plenty of time to get the private sector to patch those if that was him.
