Airfare? The band is playing Moline, IL.... which I can basically throw a rock to from my front yard and I'm probably not even going to go....

I'm reading people's comments on the band's FB page and I'm laughing and shaking my head at the same time. I want to punch some of these people in the throat. They played the east coast (mainly the NE), what, last year and people are complaining (I know, people gripe every time a tour is announced). Other people who are bitching are within a 2 hour drive of a show...that's better than having to fly for hours. They haven't been here since 2006 and while it sucks, I've learned to accept it. The closest they come is southern CA and I hate that place, so I choose not to go, which means I give up my right to complain.

No. Just pointing out that the Midwest saw them in 2010. That should hold them over for a few more years.
I only count kansas as midwest. Indiana and Columbus..they start getting accents and are fringe midwesterners. St. Louis is basically south.

I find it very hard to get worked up over where Pearl Jam tours. They go where they go. If they don't come near you, ... you'll live. I've gone years, YEARS between shows.
